The saying "age is just a number" seems to apply to soccer player Lionel Messi.

The 36-year-old Messi stated in a Big Time Podcast interview that was published on Wednesday that he doesn't think getting older is a big deal when it comes to calling it quits on his career.

In addition, he stated that he hasn't thought about ending his playing career, which has seen him win eight Ballon d'Or honors, ten La Liga crowns, four Champions League championships with Barcelona, and the World Cup with Argentina.



The player, who will turn 37 in June, admitted, "The truth is, I haven't thought about it yet." "I try to enjoy it day by day these days, to savor each moment without giving it any more thought."I would like to continue playing for a little longer, but I don't have anything concrete yet.
